Shadowbend Studios was founded out of a genuine passion for design and the creative process. After seeing so much “less than quality” work and knowing we could top it, we stopped talking and started building—creating websites for friends and family until Shadowbend Studios was born. Proprietor, Back-end Developer

Skip a California native currently lives in the beautiful Northern California Area with his lovely wife, his son and two foster kittens Rocket and McLovin.

Skip studied Commercial and Fine Art in college, spent some time as an Art Director for a graphic design firm in the late 80’s, began coding HTML sites in the mid 90’s, and opened Shadowbend Studios in 2005.

He has spent most of his life creating art and expressing his creativity through a multitude of medias. In his “spare” time he finds time for historical war-gaming, miniature painting, art projects, meditation and talking about the future with Sandy. He also tries to remember that every day is a blessing to be celebrated!

Sandy, originally from the Bay Area, she currently lives in beautiful Northern California with her amazing husband, son and foster kittens.

Sandy studied Graphic Design, Art History and Dance in college. She also spent several years as Board President for WACAI (West Africa Cultural Arts Institute) while living in Eugene, Oregon.

Sandy has spent most of her life expressing herself through dance, creating custom jewelry, handmade artist books and more recently, not-so-fine art. She also enjoys refinishing furniture. In her younger days, Sandy worked as a Sailmaker. She proudly sailed across the Pacific Ocean with two crewmates during Hurricane Iniki in 1992 and lived to tell about it. In her spare time she operates Dancing Goddess Designs, an ethnic adornment, jewelry and bead company. She is grateful for all the blessings life has offered her.
